Northern Foods supports Phunky Foods as part of its Healthy Balanced Lifestyles campaign. Promoting Healthy Balanced Lifestyles reflects Northern Foods’ responsibilities to the consumer and addresses the Government’s challenge, through its 2004 White Paper, Choosing Health. By working with the Northern Foods brands and the major retailers, Northern Foods is able to provide healthier choices: specifically by reducing levels of salt, fat and sugar across product areas; by concentrating on consumer demands for healthy options in new product development; and by helping to educate and promote healthy balanced lifestyles with consumers.
