Last week the PhunkyFoods team had the pleasure of working with children at Killinghall Church of England Primary School in Harrogate. Here’s what they thought of their ‘Super-Crunch’-making session….
Dear Ally and Helen,
We are writing to you to thank you for showing us how to make the Super-Crunch. We all really enjoyed making it, and we all enjoyed eating it too!
Here are some of class 4’s quotes:
Kiera: I thought I wasn’t going to like the Super-Crunch but once I tried it I loved it!
Lauren: At first it didn’t look very nice! But once I made it and saw what I had to put in it was all just the things I loved!
Anja: I didn’t put that much honey on the Super-Crunch but it turned out it was just right because the fruit sweetened it up.
Izzy: The fruit went really nice with the yogurt, I loved it!
These are the only quotes we remember but you probably heard some when you were in Phoenix Class.
Also, We Thank you for teaching us how to use a knife properly, teaching us how to use our hands as a tunnel/claw was a good idea to teach some of the children who are starting to use a knife (Plus they won’t cut their hands!)
We all thank you lots for coming in and showing us how to make the Super-Crunch. We all really enjoyed it!
Yours sincerely Lauren Ward & Kiera Bollon.
Lauren, Kiera and everyone in the Phoenix Class – thank you for your lovely letter, we had great fun working with you! We hope you will have some fun with food with your families over the school holidays. Here’s the Super-Crunch recipe – why not try some different fruits next time?
