Ingredients
- 150g plain white flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 30g butter
- 50ml cold water
Method
- Preheat the oven to 190C.
- Mix all of the ingredients together in a bowl, add a little water to start, adding more if needed to make a soft, but not sticky, dough.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle roughly 1cm thick.
- Cut into 8 equal sized biscuits.
- Place the biscuits on a baking tray and prick each one gently with a fork 5 times.
- Bake in the oven for 20 mins until a pale golden colour.
- Leave to cool on a wire rack/tray.
